Amy Fields Electric Wedding Violinist UK Biography

British born violinist Amy Fields, began the violin at the age of 7. With her father being a skilled pianist, she was surrounded by classical music from an early age and went on to train at two of the UK’s leading musical institutions – St Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh and The Royal Northern College of Music Manchester where she was awarded scholarships and gained distinction in her Masters in solo performance degree in 2012.

Although she has achieved a high standard in classical violin, she has always maintained an interest in other musical styles, emerging as a highly accomplished and versatile performer. She has developed a unique fusion of styles which include pop, ballads, musical/film themes, jazz, club, showpieces, bollywood, latin, gypsy and Jewish music, which allows her to cater for a wide variety of clientele and musical tastes.

Currently based in Manchester and Doncaster UK, she has traveled nationwide to perform for weddings, corporate functions, charity events, award ceremonies, gala dinners, proposals, engagement parties, birthday parties, funerals and many more.
